This qualification has been designed to provide learners with the understanding knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in learning environments such as school, college or care sectors.
It’s aimed at people working in roles that support children or young people’ learning in primary, secondary or special schools, as well as colleges. This qualification will require you to be in a paid or volunteer placement / working in support roles with ages 5 years - 19 years old.
11 mandatory units to achieve and they will be assessed whilst attending one day a week, as well as taking evidence from your preferred placement. The qualification will take around 16 weeks to complete.
